Aggie Football

A&M vs. Arkansas State and A&M vs. Miami. Ag's aren't doing so great this year (so far at least), but we have a new coach so they might be taking some time to adjust. They still have the number one fans in the country and we still enjoy going to watch them play. Hopefully, things will start to look up for them!

My new job!

I just started a job last week as a clinical assistant for a cardiologist at Central Texas Heart Center (@ St. Joseph). It is everything I wanted in a part-time job and I feel really lucky for getting it. I am getting a lot of clinical experience, my hours are great, and I really like the people I work with. I am constantly on my feet and busy all day but everyone at the office makes it really fun. By the end of the day my feet might be hurtin but my stomach is probably hurting worse because they make me laugh so much! :D

Hurricane Ike

Friday night, waiting for the hurricane to roll in, we had some friends and neighbors come over to hang out in the garage. One of the neighbor's friends brought his guitar over so Forrest played a few tunes for us. The sky was so pretty and the breeze was incredible that night!

One Month!

Friday, Forrest and I met up with Lacey and Todd for a vet school function where they cooked mountain oysters (yuck!) and a vet student's band played live music. We ate at Texas Roadhouse before going since I wasn't up for the challenge of eating you know what! Also this weekend, I went to El Tiempo Cantina in Houston for Tracy's lingerie shower and Forrest went dove hunting with some guys he works with.

Balboa Park

Me, Sister, Darrin, Reagan, and Lance spent the day at Balboa Park which was BEAUTIFUL. It is located right outside the San Diego Zoo. We didn't actually get to go to the zoo that day but maybe when Reagan is a little older and I am visiting, we will all go then.

Farmers Market

Me, Sister, and Reagan (and the rest of the family too) at a farmers market inside a little shopping center. We listened to our favorite girl sing and just walked around the market and center. Later we ate at the Cheesecake Factory for dinner.

Mission Beach

Me, Lance, Sister, Darrin, and Reagan all enjoyed a day in the sun at Mission Beach. This was one of Reagan's first days "out" and she did GREAT! She is our little California girl already!

Otay Ranch

This was the first night my parents got into town. We went to a shopping center called Otay Ranch and ate dinner at California Pizza Kitchen.
